So Much Better With Age
Everything Old Is New Again
This looks great! At first I wasn’t sure how on earth you could give up the closet space, but since you had a few others to work with, this makes sense. I’m in love with the beadboard!Sarah
I know, it’s not for everyone giving up a closet but it actually holds a lot of stuff in the lower cabinet and makes me keep the top party tidy Thanks for stopping by!!Jamie
I love it! I’m going to pin this!
This is such a freakin awesome idea, Jamie! Love, love, love it! The beadboard and black granite is gorgeous! Pinning!

My first house had an awesome HUGE butler’s pantry and although I adore Lavender Hill, that amazing butler’s pantry is the one thing I miss – even after 26 years!
you did an awesome job repurposing that space and I think your butler’s pantry is adorable!
thanks for sharing,gena
Gena, I’m so jealous of the huge butler’s pantry you had years ago! You have a great blog. Thanks so much for stopping by.Jamie @ somuchbetterwithage.com

Jamie,It’s wonderful!I did notice the bead oard and thought it was a nice touch. I have a walk in pantry and I LOVE it! I designed our house florr plan and even the kitchen cabinets. WE realized there was space for a pantry after we got into building the home and I redrew the kitchen and we have the pantry now. We did have to have a custom door built so that it would fit because the area was not a standard size, but we had it made to match the cabinets and I love it! I know you will relly enjoy your butler’s pantry….Now WHERE in the world IS that butler?????? ; )Hearts,Betsy
Thanks Betsy! I walk in pantry is my dream! Such a good idea to add to a custom kitchen. I’m now your newest follower Jamie @ somuchbetterwithage.comHappy Mother’s Day
Love your little butlers pantry! It looks fab. Thanx for partying at THT!
Thank you Pamela!Jamie
This is a fantastic idea – love it, especially the bead board on the ceiling. You thought of everything. My husband and I had plans drawn up for a new house a few years ago and we included a butler’s pantry. Alas, we decided not to build right before the housing market crashed – I guess I should write “hooray”, instead of “alas”, but I still am sorry that I lost out on the great butler’s pantry – jealous of yours!! It is wonderful.
Yes, I completely understand your comment. It should be a “hooray” instead of “alas” but it’s hard to let go of something we want, right? Maybe one day you can turn a closet into a tiny butler pantry like this one day. Thanks for stopping by!Jamie @ somuchbetterwithage.com

Fabulous!! Thanks for sharing at A New Creation. Our home actually came with a butler’s pantry but almost no closets. Seriously…one tiny oddly shaped hall closet and other than bedrooms, that’s it!
I do love my butler’s pantry I have to say. And I’m thrilled for you that you have one now too!
No closets? Yeah, I wouldn’t be turning my only closet into a butler pantry but since there was a weird long wall of them! hahaHope you had a great Mother’s Day!Jamie
