If anyone knows just a little bit about me, they know that I love all things French and vintage!

Putting together these stunning traditional tablescapes for Christmas were so much fun!!

In fact, today I’m going to show you two French tablescapes:

1) Christmas morning in the kitchen and

 2) Christmas dinner in the dining room!

Ready for the tour?

Christmas Morning Tablescape

I recently made the grain sack tablecloth and it looks so good in here.

I’ve made some delicious cinnamon buns. Help yourself to this pretty vintage french buffet in our kitchen eating area.

These unique mugs and plates from my Christmas morning buffet are from Pottery Barn but sadly they don’t carry them anymore. You can find more plates below.

Fresh greenery in a vintage crate is a great way to decorate and add rustic warmth for the holidays along with a holiday to do list.

Now let’s move on to our second French Christmas tablescape…

Christmas Dinner in the Dining Room

The dining room table set for Christmas dinner.

I love these sophisticated little Eiffel tower globe ornaments. I’ve used them as individual place settings.

I’ve had this collection of Eiffel towers for years. It’s usually in my bedroom but I brought it down to enjoy Christmas this year.

I love my new flatware. It’s the Maxfield Collection from Pottery Barn as well.

I made these linen napkins that can also be used as placemats.

I love bringing elegant rustic vintage items to decorate with, such as my old 7 Up crate, old scale, dough bowl and vintage olive bucket.

Just adding some fragrant evergreen branches and flocked twigs really spruce up the old crate.

A glittery Eiffel Tower on a wreath makes it festive too!

A striped chair in the corner with a French vintage pillow on it.

I added a little Eiffel tower ornament to that holiday wreath on the mirror.

Here is something really easy to do. Add a tomato cage to a large crock with some jewelled garland and you have yourself a DIY Eiffel Tower!

I’ve recently painted my dining room a calming hue and I love the colour: Horizon by Benjamin Moore.

We have such a large dining room that I utilized the space by the bay window for more seating.

I added a quaint little bistro set then dressed it up for Christmas.

It’s complete with an old crate, these twine Christmas trees I made last year and the Night Before Christmas in Paris book.

    1. Wow, what a sweet comment!! I love everything French {especially Paris & the Eiffel Tower} even though I’m Canadian. Thanks so much for stopping by.
      Big hugs,

  4. Hi Jamie, I am in love with everything in this post! How did I not know you were a fellow Francophile freak! I even have some of the same little Eiffel towers, including the bottle with the cork. I am featuring this post at my party tomorrow afternoon. Thank you! Happy New Year. -Karen

  5. Such beautiful settings. I want to do something like this this year. I usually spend so much time planning the dinner table that we just have cereal on the sofa for breakfast. This year however I’m not hosting! so this would be a lovely idea for me and my partner to enjoy before we join everyone else.
