You Have Bewitched Me Body and Soul Pillow

Come see my body and soul pillow made with the silhouette machine.

As you know (or may not know), I recently got a Silhouette machine and I’m loving it! I recently did this I Love Paris in the Springtime artwork with the sketch pens. For my next DIY project, I wanted to try Silhouette’s heat transfer vinyl…on a pillow (of course!).

I really love throw pillows. I’ve had two posts recently about pillows like here and here so why not bombard you with another beautiful pillow?!

I’ve had this thought for a decorative pillow for a very long time. I love Pride & Prejudice.

I thought this was the perfect combination, Mr. Darcy’s love proclamation on a pillow.

As soon as I got my Silhouette, I made sure to get some products so the first one I got was this Heat Transfer Starter Kit. Perfect! Everything I need to get started.

My friend Lauren from The Thinking Closet has awesome tutorials on heat transfer vinyl so I followed those instructions.

So my first attempt at HTV? I love it. It’s not nearly as scary as I thought it would be.

Yep, I pretty much love it how it transformed this throw pillow.

Let me know if you have a silhouette machine and have tried this as well!

  1. I bought the Cameo last fall and have used it for signs, etc but haven’t tried the heat transfer or the pens! I really need to get some of those products and start getting full use out of my Silhouette. I have to check the sale out…yes, I’m loving they ship to Canada now!

  3. Oh my goodness! I love this Jamie! I am an Austen nut, but P&P takes the cake (followed very closely by Persuasion). I absolutely love that you immortalized Darcy on a pillow! Now I need to get up the courage to try out an HTV project so I can Austen-ify every fabric surface in my house!

  5. Oh Jamie, love P & P, the saying and cushion and Silhouette…. although my Silhouette and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship. I love her when she does as I want, but sometimes she is a little temperamental. Thanks for linking up this week at Shabbilicious Friday.
